About Peerify
A different kind of music platform
Peerify exists because something vital went missing from the way music moves through the world. We are rebuilding the system so it feels human again.
The problem
Music used to travel hand to hand, room to room, friend to friend. Today it flows through opaque systems, secret algorithms, and extractive models that reward scale over care.
Peerify is an attempt to correct that — gently, deliberately, fairly.
The foundation
Peerify is a not-for-profit platform operated by the Social Systems Foundation. Any surplus is returned to the community through the Altruistic Wallet, redistributing value back to artists, creators, and cultural projects.
Peerify grows only if the community grows with it.
How discovery works
No algorithms. No artificial artists.
Peerify is open source and transparent. Discovery happens through proximity, curiosity, community participation, and human choice.

Paying for music isn’t merely a transaction — it’s recognition. Peerify keeps that relationship intact.
We nudge support gently: if someone keeps playing a track they haven’t purchased, the platform simply reminds them that a human created it.

Membership
Fair to fans
Peerify is free to join. Fans who opt in can contribute around €/$5 per month, and at least 80% of that goes back to artists through purchases or tickets. Membership is participation, not paywalled access.
Showcase
Fair to artists
Artists never pay to exist on the platform. Optional showcase minutes cover infrastructure so fans can explore MP3s. Peerify covers the first 100 minutes and keeps the cost intentionally low.
Artists can always link to their existing platforms — this is about discovery with dignity, not lock-in.
