Peerify grows through people.

Peerify is still at an early stage, and its success depends on collective effort.

We are building Peerify as a not-for-profit platform, run by the Social Systems Foundation, with the intention that it remains a shared piece of cultural infrastructure. Any surplus generated by Peerify will be returned to the community that makes it possible.

Our immediate focus is on learning by doing.

Over the coming months, we aim to organise and support local gigs and small events to test the concept in real-world settings. These events help us understand what works, what doesn’t, and what artists, hosts and audiences actually need. We’ll share and promote these early gigs through our social media channels as we build momentum and visibility.

In parallel, we are building the foundations for a test pilot.

We are creating a growing database of artists, fans and hosts who are interested in using Peerify, so we can invite them into a limited pilot when the prototype is ready. The first version of Peerify will be built on the open-source platform Circles, and the estimated cost of running a small test pilot is approximately $10,000. To fund this, we plan to run a crowdfunding campaign in February 2026. Everyone who contributes will become a Founding Member of Peerify.
